What SUMMIT is
SUMMIT is an audio-first language program built around stories. The vocabulary, repetition, recall and level of support are structured behind the scenes, so your attention can stay on listening and understanding what happens next.
Every chapter is sequenced to build on what came before. You do not need to organise study sessions or force yourself to remember every detail: listen consistently, and the language returns until it becomes familiar and usable.
The program begins with the most frequently used Spanish words. Learning high-value language first gives you access to a richer share of everyday Spanish much earlier in the journey.
Words return at carefully planned intervals informed by the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve. This spaced repetition is designed to refresh each memory before it becomes difficult to retrieve.
Short prompts after each chapter ask you to retrieve meaning instead of simply hearing it again. This active recall strengthens retention and makes the language easier to retrieve later.
Each part of the story is told in English first, then in Spanish, so meaning is already clear when the new language arrives. This allows SUMMIT to deliver a high density of comprehensible input while introducing new vocabulary and structures at pace—giving the brain more meaningful patterns to encode without guesswork.
Plot, emotion and surprise make words more salient and memorable. At the same time, every scene shows the language in natural patterns rather than as isolated vocabulary.
The simple part
You do not need to catch every word on the first listen. Continue in order, return when prompted and let repeated meaning become recognition, then understanding, then language you can use.
